Analysis of Exports and Imports of T&A for June 2026 – Ministry of Commerce & Industry

Overall Sector Performance (Textile & Apparel) :

•⁠ ⁠Q1 Performance (Apr–Jun): Cumulative T&A exports for Q1 FY26–27 contracted to $8.81 Bn USD, representing a 2.96% decrease from $9.08 Bn USD during the same period last year.

•⁠ ⁠June 2026 : Total T&A exports stood flat at $2.91 Bn USD (a minor uptick of 0.21% compared to June 2025), but dropped 3.87% compared to May 2026 ($3.02 Bn USD).

•⁠ ⁠Share of T&A in Total Exports: The T&A sector’s contribution to India’s total merchandise exports shrunk from 8.14% in Q1 last year to 6.82% in Q1 FY26–27
